Electrical Engineering Lead Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our team.

The successful candidate will oversee project execution from concept through to commissioning, designing and reviewing electrical infrastructure for transmission, distribution, and generation projects. They will also develop technical specifications, reports, and drawings using industry-standard tools and provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project execution from concept through to commissioning.
  • Design and review electrical infrastructure for transmission, distribution, and generation projects.
  • Develop technical specifications, reports, and drawings using industry-standard tools.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Lead power system studies including load flow, fault analysis, protection coordination, and stability assessments.
  • Liaise with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and project success.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in the Electrical Engineering field.
  • Strong knowledge of standards (IEEE, IEC, AS/NZS), NER, and utility requirements.
  • Strong knowledge in tools like AutoCAD and PTW.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Certifications: oCPEng, oNER, oRPEQ.
