Expert Communication Strategist for Retail Transformation

Located in the inner-northern suburbs, this part-time contractual engagement offers a unique opportunity to drive change and improvement within a retail client's Kronos project team. As a seasoned professional with a background in training and communication, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the team's performance and contributing to the company's success.

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual who can develop and implement comprehensive training plans, conduct thorough needs analysis, and create tailored job aids and quick reference guides. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in online and in-person training delivery.

This is an exciting chance to join Talent International and contribute to the development of a retail client's team. With a rate of up to $900 per day inclusive of Super and costs, this position offers a competitive compensation package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Training Plan that addresses the specific needs of the project team.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create engaging Training Manuals and Job Aids tailored to the project requirements.
  • Design Quick Reference Guides for ease of learning and understanding.
  • Produce high-quality Training Videos and BAU Training Videos that meet the project objectives.
  • Facilitate Train the Trainer sessions to empower internal trainers and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Deliver Online Training sessions with a focus on interactivity and retention, ensuring that participants are engaged and motivated throughout the process.
  • Lead Head Onsite Office Training for hands-on experience and to provide real-world application of the training concepts.
  • Craft a strategic Communications Plan that supports project objectives and promotes effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Update the Intranet with timely and relevant project information, keeping all stakeholders informed and up-to-date.
  • Design and distribute User Feedback Surveys to gauge the effectiveness of the training and make data-driven decisions.
  • Perform Readiness Checks to ensure smooth transition during project phases and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop Test Scripts to validate functionality and user experience, guaranteeing that the training meets the highest standards.
  • Provide Hypercare Support, including additional materials and training as needed, to ensure that participants retain their knowledge and skills.
  • Undertake Adhoc tasks to support the project's success and address any emerging issues or concerns.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in training and change management, with a track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse groups.
  • Able to create high-quality training materials and deliver effective training sessions that meet the project objectives.
  • Experience with online and in-person training delivery, with a focus on interactivity and retention.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritising deadlines and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Knowledge of the Kronos system is highly advantageous, but not essential.
