Aircraft Turnaround Operations Manager

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the airport leadership team, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of scheduled operations.
This role involves overseeing airport operational performance, supporting day-to-day activities, and leading by example to maintain high standards of customer service. The leader's vision will be key to ensuring smooth operations and consistently exceptional experience for passengers and stakeholders.
The Core Responsibilities Of This Role Will Be- Proactively identifying and managing operational issues, mitigating any impacts to customers and operations through effective coordination with stakeholders.
- Coordinating aircraft movements in collaboration with ground services providers, airport authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Operational oversight of ground service providers to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Planning, developing, and implementing projects related to aircraft turnaround services to deliver tactical, operational, and strategic improvement initiatives.
- Supporting management of domestic and international operational performance to achieve set targets.
- Consistency in achieving KPIs relating to safety, on-time performance, customer satisfaction, and financial deliverables.
- Supporting airport customer service delivery to ensure it aligns with company brand values, as well as acting as a secondary escalation point for problem resolution and disrupt management.
- Coordinate operational turnaround requirements to ensure activities occur in line with Precision Timing Schedule.
- Building strong, professional relationships with airport leaders, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure day-to-day customer service standards and on-time performance are met.
- Leading and maintaining a skilled and enthusiastic workforce in line with business volume and targets.
- Continuously developing and on-shift performance management of all relevant team members.
- Fostering an enhanced awareness among all team members for OH&S, aviation safety, and security policies.
