Senior Manager Training Capability Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead the development of our training capability. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic planning, execution, and improvement of training initiatives across the organisation.

About the Role
  • Lead a large and diverse team of training specialists in the execution of multiple training domains and capabilities.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the growth and development of the training capability, including needs analysis, design, and delivery.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge and skills in training operations and management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality training programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the growth and development of the training capability, aligning with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a large and diverse team of training specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure the success of the training initiative.
  • Training Design and Delivery: Design and deliver high-quality training programs that meet the needs of the organisation and its stakeholders, incorporating best practices and emerging trends in the field.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in training development and delivery, or a related field.
  • At least 7-10 years' experience in a training environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality training programs.
  • Expertise in training operations and management, including needs analysis, design, and delivery.
