Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and the ability to deliver high-quality results under pressure.

The Senior Structural Engineer will play a crucial role in delivering cost-effective structural engineering designs from conceptual design to detailed design, tender and construction. This involves working closely with the project team to ensure that all aspects of the project are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering cost-effective structural engineering designs
  • Perform analysis and design of steel structures and concrete foundations
  • Prepare specifications, design criteria, scope of work and material take-offs
  • Work with designers and other engineers on the project team

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
  • CPEng or working toward CPEng
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Previous experience working on EPC/EPCM projects in heavy industrial environments

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles
  • Experience with Microstran, Strand7 and Spacegass software
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
  • Collaborative mindset and strong teamwork skills
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure
