As an Urban Forestry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of Melbourne's iconic trees and public spaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform all aspects of tree maintenance and replacement works, including pruning, removal, and planting.
- Ensure work areas are safe and secure for both yourself and others.
- Operate heavy equipment, such as trailer-mounted machines and light trucks, in a professional and safe manner.
- Previous experience in a tree maintenance or arboriculture role.
- Current MR Licence and ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
- Certificate II ESI (Electrical Safety Industry) and EWP (Elevated Work Platform) certification.
- Excellent work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
- Experience dealing with customers, clients, and members of the general public.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Working With Children Card and any other relevant certifications.
- Certificate III in Arboriculture.
- Chainsaw Licence and tree climbing experience.
