The role is in a growth area within the city of Melbourne but is also on the urban fringe to regional Victoria and within driving distance to the beach, City, Coast, & Country. **ABOUT THE ROLE**:
The SFVA uses their knowledge and expertise of the family violence sector to assist staff at MMH&WS to navigate the specialist family violence service systems, provide information on best practice and ensure that appropriate policy and governance frameworks are in place.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with successful completion of a specialist undergraduate psychiatric nursing program or a Post graduate Psychiatric/mental health nursing qualification or
- An approved degree in Psychology and registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist with endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist or
- An approved degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist or
- An approved degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers and
- Formal qualification/ post graduate qualification in Family Violence.
- Experience working in family violence with a sound knowledge of the clinical mental health sector
- A current Victorian Driver’s License and ability to drive a work vehicle

Mercy Mental Health supports people in south west metropolitan Melbourne with severe and complex mental illnesses by providing acute and community-based care. Services are available to adults through acute inpatient programs, residential rehabilitation programs and crisis and community recovery-focused treatment programs. We also offer inpatient and community specialist perinatal mental health services to women and infants in western Victoria.
