About The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and driven Registered Nurse to join our Defence Force Careers Centre Clinic in Queensland. This full-time role involves supporting the recruitment and readiness of future Defence personnel.


Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct telephone screenings and in-person preliminary medical assessments
  • Accurately document findings in electronic health records
  • Review online medical histories and extract relevant details
  • Complete medical file reviews and manage archival records
  • Request and manage extant medical reports
  • Maintain medical equipment used in assessments

Required Skills And Qualifications
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 3 years' broad clinical experience in a health system comparable to Australia
  • Enrolled Nurses must have completed a Diploma of Nursing and possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in the health system
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and ICT systems
