About the Occupational Therapy Role

We are looking for an experienced occupational therapist to join our team on a part-time basis.

This opportunity will see you work across a diverse range of cases, including medical, orthopaedic, neurological, and geriatric patients. You may also care for acute inpatients, day rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, and conduct home visits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and efficient services and exceptional patient care.
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients with various conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and interventions to promote patients' independence and functional ability.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience working in acute hospital settings.
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and demonstrated autonomy.
  • Sound knowledge of My Aged Care systems and referral process.
