Clinical Practitioner



About the Role:

This esteemed healthcare organization seeks a skilled Clinical Practitioner to deliver high-quality patient care within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

The successful candidate will be working closely with the clinical team to provide comprehensive services that meet national standards.

This is a full-time position based at the Bilinga clinic, however, part-time applications will also be considered.

  • Provide quality clinical services to clients in line with best practice standards.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous quality improvement as an integrated aspect of service development and delivery.
  • Liaise with Clinical Nurse and/or Aboriginal Health Worker to ensure seamless client experience.
  • Strong knowledge and ability to optimize referral pathways to specialist and allied health services for clients.
Requirements:
  • Vocational Registration.
  • Unconditional AHPRA registration.
  • Solid understanding of systems and processes required to sustain high standard of clinical quality and safety.
  • Commitment to principles and practice of Aboriginal Community Control, and improving long-term health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families & communities.
  • Effective communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
Additional Requirements:
  • This position requires the successful applicant to satisfy a national criminal history check and hold a current drivers' license.
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
