Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned procurement expert to lead our technology and digital spend categories, ensuring optimal value and robust risk mitigation.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Brisbane office, requiring attendance in the office 2-3 days a week.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative procurement strategies that align with our business objectives.

  • Develop and implement effective procurement plans to optimize value and minimize risks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including operational leaders in technology and digital spend areas.
  • Provide commercial guidance and advice to support informed decision-making.

Your Background

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification (Diploma/Bachelor's degree) in business, economics, finance, or similar field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working within a commercial procurement environment managing technology and digital spend categories.
  • Demonstrable experience negotiating with significant IT vendors/providers.
  • Attainment of, or working towards, a Professional education qualification in the Procurement field (CIPS or equivalent).
  • Proven knowledge of complex procurement, commercial, and financial activities within a commercial procurement environment.
