Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled maintenance supervisor to join our team in the Bowen Basin. We are looking for someone with a strong HD mechanical background and 5+ years of experience managing heavy equipment maintenance in workshop and field environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ongoing supervision of maintenance and services to ensure timely, cost-effective, and professional preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
  • Managing employees, facilities, and resources to achieve optimal maintenance practices.
  • Providing leadership, mentoring, and visibility to the team to develop efficient maintenance procedures.
  • Actively promoting safety awareness and encouraging safe work practices among team members.
  • Maintaining and meeting maintenance targets on time.
  • Collaborating with customers and stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Nationally recognised trade qualification in HD mechanical engineering.
  • Mining Supervisor Certifications (G1, G8, G9, G2).
  • Standard 11 Competency in mining operations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of heavy earthmoving equipment used in mining operations.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and operational needs.
  • Solid understanding of HSET standards in QLD mining.
  • Strong commercial acumen aligned with project goals.
