We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Strategist to work on heavy mobile and field equipment at our open-cut mine. The successful candidate will develop, communicate, and monitor short-term maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment availability.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have trade qualifications, tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Maintenance Management, and relevant planning experience in a similar setting. They should also have demonstrated specific maintenance experience within open-cut mining operations and experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.

  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in budget management and cost control
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

This role requires collaboration with Coordinators, Engineers, and Supervisors to achieve performance improvement. The Equipment Maintenance Strategist will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety protocols and operating systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
