Facilities Coordinator Job Opportunity

Job Overview:

A 24-month assignment with possible extensions involves managing a facility in Sydney, Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of facilities including maintenance, security, resource allocation, budgets, and expenses to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
  • Implement and enforce safety, security, and environmental regulations to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures, conducting regular drills to ensure preparedness.
  • Key engagement with internal and external stakeholders is essential to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
  • Provide training and guidance to facility staff on safety procedures, security protocols, and facility policies to ensure they are well-equipped to perform their duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of Project Management principles.
  • Previous experience working in a Defence environment is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office - Outlook, Excel, and other software applications.
  • Experience in facilities management, preferably in a defence or security-related context, is essential.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
