Job Description:

This role involves providing critical support to the Steering Committee in setting up the Alliance's governance system. You will lead document reviews, scoping exercises, and the establishment of working groups. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the creation and dissemination of governance structures and ensuring progress tracking of ongoing projects.

You will also coordinate communication, meetings, and reports with government representatives, stakeholders, and the public. This role requires strong collaboration, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, as well as exceptional interpersonal and service-oriented approach.

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant work experience in a health-related field
  • Strong knowledge of the health and medical research landscape in NSW and Australia, including funding schemes and networks
  • Experience as an Executive Officer and/or in project management
  • Proven ability to develop strategies and new initiatives
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Skilled in managing priorities, deadlines, and multitasking effectively
  • Clear, analytical thinker with a strong grasp of scientific information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
