Project Officer, Clinical Trials

The role involves undertaking responsibilities within divisional projects and initiatives to ensure achievement of the Clinical Trials Program objectives.

This position requires a collaborative approach to work with diverse stakeholders and build effective working relationships.

A high level of attention to detail is essential for delivering high-quality reports, correspondence, and briefing papers.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, are required for this role.

The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of health systems in NSW and the Commonwealth, as well as an understanding of cancer clinical trial landscape and conduct in NSW.

Essential requirements:

  • Demonstrated relevant experience in health program planning and project management
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality reports, correspondence, and briefing papers
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with good attention to detail and the ability to consult, collaborate, and build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new systems
  • Sound understanding of health systems in NSW and the Commonwealth
  • Understanding of cancer clinical trial landscape and conduct in NSW, with relevant experience in a research or health care setting is considered desirable
