The Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic electrical or mechanical technician to join our service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of wind turbines, ensuring smooth operation and compliance with contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively and reactively maintain wind farm equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Ensure safe and effective operation of high voltage and low voltage systems
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures to protect personnel and the environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe workplace and participate in regular safety meetings
  • Maintain company vehicles in top condition and ensure they are clean and well-maintained
  • Comply with OH&S legislation and demonstrate a commitment to accident prevention
  • Familiarize yourself with the site and its operations through comprehensive induction
  • Ensure all requirements of the Service Maintenance Agreement are met to guarantee smooth wind farm operation
  • Continuously learn and develop new skills to adapt to changing working conditions
Requirements
  • Electrical or mechanical trade certificate
  • Full clean driving license
  • Relevant qualifications include GWO training, working at heights, safety, manual handling, HV/LV rescue, fire awareness, and first aid
