The Disability Life Skills Supporter is responsible for delivering high-quality services to individuals with physical and mental disabilities under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) across homes in Southwestern Sydney.
Main Responsibilities- Aiding daily life activities, including attending medical appointments, shopping, and transportation.
- Supporting individuals in their educational and work-related endeavors.
- Facilitating access to community, social, and recreational activities.
- Previous experience working with psychosocial disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain accurate case notes via mobile phone.
- Certification of a valid NSW Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check.
- NSW Driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Desirable: Hold a Certificate III or IV in Disability or Individual Support.
- Comprehensive induction training from Day 1, including buddy shifts.
