We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lifestyle Officer to join our team at Aged Care Resumes. As a key member of our Lifestyle Team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and facilitate group and individual programs that cater to the social, psychological, emotional, physical, cultural, and spiritual needs of our residents.
- Help residents find meaning and purpose through activities designed to promote connection, fun, and relaxation.
- Collaborate with the Lifestyle Manager to develop and deliver programs that meet the needs of our residents.
- Provide support and guidance to residents to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to care and support.
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or equivalent.
- Previous experience in facilitating Lifestyle and Recreation programs.
- Experience working with Dementia and Challenging Behaviours.
- A conscientious and empathetic approach to working with older persons.
- Proficiency in using a computer, including Microsoft Office and database programs.
- Excellent time-management skills and a well-organized approach.
- An upbeat and engaging personality.
- Imagination and creative skills in art, music, dance, and craft (desirable).
