About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lifestyle Officer to join our team at Aged Care Resumes. As a key member of our Lifestyle Team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and facilitate group and individual programs that cater to the social, psychological, emotional, physical, cultural, and spiritual needs of our residents.
  • Help residents find meaning and purpose through activities designed to promote connection, fun, and relaxation.
  • Collaborate with the Lifestyle Manager to develop and deliver programs that meet the needs of our residents.
  • Provide support and guidance to residents to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to care and support.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in facilitating Lifestyle and Recreation programs.
  • Experience working with Dementia and Challenging Behaviours.
  • A conscientious and empathetic approach to working with older persons.
  • Proficiency in using a computer, including Microsoft Office and database programs.
  • Excellent time-management skills and a well-organized approach.
  • An upbeat and engaging personality.
  • Imagination and creative skills in art, music, dance, and craft (desirable).
