Lead Contract Professional for High Rise Commercial Projects

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join our team and lead the contract administration process for a brand new $100m high-rise commercial project. As the main Senior CA, you will be responsible for managing all facets of the head contract and subcontract process from tendering through preparation and letting, payment, and post-project completion.
You will work closely with the project team to ensure accurate records and timely communication of all project details. Additionally, you will assist the Project Manager with project financial reporting and analysis, develop an understanding of project planning and programming, and train, mentor, and coach Contracts Administrators in administration duties and systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering
- A minimum of 10-12 years previous experience in negotiating and letting contracts across a range of trades
- Strong knowledge of the head contract and subcontract tendering processes
- Experience working on construction projects in the commercial space, with a focus on high-rise developments
- Exceptional client management skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Jobpac or CHEOPS is advantageous

- Understand and comply with the company business systems, ensuring accuracy of records and timely communication of all project details
- Assist the Project Manager with project financial reporting and analysis
- Develop an understanding of project planning and programming
- Train, mentor, and coach Contracts Administrators in administration duties and systems, coordinate their activities to develop them, and deliver project outcomes
- Ensure safety compliance on site within your roles and responsibilities
