Electrical Infrastructure Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Substation Construction Manager, responsible for coordinating and managing project field activities within a geographical area of the energy network.
The ideal candidate will have over a decade of experience in substation construction and electrical distribution, with exceptional relationship-building skills and clear communication to ensure project success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and managing all construction activities within a zone substation, focusing on safety and ensuring project risks are identified and managed.
- Managing day-to-day construction work and procurement activities, resource requirements, and project issues.
- Managing field resources in line with project organisation structure, ensuring projects are completed to client expectations – safely, on time, to approved scope, quality, and environmental standards.
- Managing internal and external stakeholder relations with subcontractors, clients, and internal staff.
- Coordinating subcontractors and the quality of their work.
- Providing accurate input into forecasting of program resource & financial requirements.
- Assisting Project Manager & Estimators (as required) – scoping, bid tendering, cost estimation, and construction schedules.
