About this role
We are seeking an experienced Switching Operator to join our team in Western Australia.
Key responsibilities include performing HV/LV switching operations, creating and implementing switching protocols, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with policies, quality systems, and statutory requirements.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical knowledge, demonstrated experience, and authorization to perform HV, LV and Transmission switching on the Western Power network.
- Operate and maintain complex electrical infrastructure
- Create and implement operational procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ensure regulatory compliance
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need strong technical skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently.
- Strong technical knowledge of HV/LV switching operations
- Demonstrated experience in electrical infrastructure maintenance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A current Australian driver's licence
