Job Title: Civil Infrastructure SpecialistJob Description

Ventia is seeking a skilled Civil Infrastructure Specialist to join the Venture Smart team, delivering projects to Main Roads Western Australia. The role involves operating and maintaining civil and electrical assets such as traffic control signals, roadway lighting, electronic speed limit signs, CCTV cameras, and vehicle detection systems.

This is a full-time permanent role with the depot based in Jandakot WA, operating on assets across the Perth metropolitan area.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain civil and electrical infrastructure for Main Roads WA including traffic signals, lighting, and ITS equipment.
  • Work across various sites within the Perth metropolitan area as part of a unified team.
  • Contribute to safe, efficient project delivery in accordance with Ventia standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid WA Driver's Licence (MR or higher)
  • An Excavator Operator ticket
  • Experience operating mini excavators on civil/brownfields construction sites
  • Motivated self-starter, able to contribute and work as part of a team
  • Prior experience with Main Roads electrical and communications assets an advantage
