Substation Construction Role
You will be responsible for coordinating and managing project field activities as specified by the Client, within a geographical area of the network.
- Coordinate and manage all construction activities within a zone substation, focusing on safety and identifying and managing project risks.
- Manage day-to-day construction work and procurement activities, resource/application requirements, and project issues.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, to approved scope, quality, and environmental standards.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relations with subcontractors, clients, and internal staff.
- Coordinate subcontractors and the quality of their work.
- Provide accurate input into forecasting of program resource & financial requirements.
- Assist Project Manager & Estimators as required – scoping, bid tendering, cost estimation, and construction schedules.
About You
You are an experienced electrical professional with over a decade of experience in substation construction and electrical distribution.
You excel at fostering collaborative relationships while delivering complex projects on time.
