Job Summary

The successful HR Manager will lead a high-performing team, overseeing all aspects of HR, Training, Recruitment, and Social Inclusion. As a trusted business partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic HR initiatives that support the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert guidance on employee and industrial relations, including conducting thorough investigations, drafting comprehensive reports, and managing negotiated exits.
  2. Interpret and apply employment legislation and enterprise agreements, offering accurate advice to payroll on matters such as long service leave, superannuation, and ordinary time earnings.
  3. Support workforce planning and development by identifying talent gaps, advising on capability needs, and analysing workforce data to inform strategic decisions.
  4. Contribute to organisational design and change initiatives, assessing the impact of role and structural changes on business operations.
  5. Lead and align HR governance and strategy, ensuring job roles, capabilities, and salary bandings support organisational goals, while overseeing junior team members' work.
  6. Promote a positive workplace culture, embedding diversity and inclusion initiatives, managing ethical decision-making, and supporting employee branding strategies.
  7. Drive talent acquisition and retention strategies, including sourcing, advising on hiring processes, and developing competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in an HR leadership role in a similar industry environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability and the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Capability to influence and drive change management through all levels of project leadership and operational staff.
  • Highly proficient with employment law, regulations, and best practices in HR.
  • Ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
