Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Compliance Specialist - Furniture Quality Expert to join our team in ensuring the highest quality and compliance standards across our markets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Compliance Guidance: Collaborate with internal development teams and supply partners to provide expert guidance on quality and compliance standards, test methods, and evaluation criteria for new and existing products.
  2. Testing Scheduling: Plan and manage testing schedules and costs, including booking tests and assessments with third-party providers, and conducting in-house quality tests using various equipment.
  3. Product Launch Support: Partner with designers and engineers to ensure successful product launches and work closely with the customer experience team to gather feedback for quality improvements from customer returns and warranty claims.
  4. Quality Framework Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of our quality and compliance frameworks for existing and new markets, including test standards, methods, and evaluation criteria.
  5. Certification Coordination: Coordinate with third-party providers to apply for and renew product certifications in different markets based on demand and regulatory requirements.
  6. Investigation Support: Assist stakeholders in conducting injury, quality, and compliance investigations by providing testing evidence and detailed analysis if required.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a compliance or quality role, preferably with demonstrable experience in furniture materials or products, or experience in FMCG, general merchandise, or similar.
  • Furniture Quality Standards: Understanding of furniture quality standards in different markets, including familiarity with ASTM, EN, ISO, and AS/NZS standards.
  • Test Management: Proven experience in booking and managing tests and assessments with third-party providers.
  • Customer Feedback Analysis: Skilled in analysing customer feedback and translating insights into actionable improvements for future products.
  • Technical Document Reading: Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as detailed product specification sheets. Experience in report writing and conducting data analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
