About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Claims Resolution Specialist to join our team at RAA in Mile End, SA.

As a key member of our dispute resolution team, you will be responsible for resolving escalated insurance claims complaints in a fair and timely manner. This will involve utilising your extensive knowledge and experience to review technical complaints and determine the best course of action to resolve the issue.

You will work closely with our claims leaders, product and underwriting teams, as well as other internal and external stakeholders to progress complaints and achieve satisfactory outcomes for both our members and the business.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in insurance claims resolution, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be supported by a highly engaged and supportive team who share your passion for delivering excellent customer service.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You will also need to have a strong understanding of insurance processes and procedures, including the General Insurance Code of Practice and relevant legislative requirements.

Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) qualifications would be highly regarded but not essential. What is important is your passion for delivering outstanding customer service and your ability to make sound commercial decisions that achieve acceptable outcomes for both our members and the business.

We offer a competitive salary package, with an estimated annual salary of $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience.
