We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our team as a Meat Department Leader at Drakes Supermarkets.
As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, and completing stock takes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage a small team of butchers and ensure excellent customer service
- Create and manage rosters to meet business needs
- Generate orders and manage stock levels to minimize waste
- Complete regular stock takes to ensure accuracy
**Requirements:**
- Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential)
- Fresh food retail knowledge is desired
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Ability to order and control costs
- An excellent understanding of gross profit calculations
- Accurate team rostering
- Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands on" approach
