Border Force Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Australian Border Force (ABF) as a temporary officer. The ABF is responsible for protecting Australia's borders, enforcing immigration and customs laws, and preventing the importation of prohibited goods.
As a Border Force Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of Australia's border, whether it be processing passengers at an air or seaport, clearing cargo at an air or seaport, working at a district office, undertaking project work and administrative duties, or assisting with regulatory functions and training delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Processing passengers at an air or seaport
- Clearing cargo at an air or seaport or clearing mail at a clearance centre

- Assisting with regulatory functions and training delivery
You will work closely with other officers to achieve our goals, which include:
- Maintaining the integrity of Australia's border
- Enforcing immigration and customs laws
- Preventing the importation of prohibited goods
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (AGSVA) security clearance and an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
