About the Branch Operations Role

The Branch Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations, leading a team to drive growth and deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop capabilities of the branch network in terms of sales and operations.
  • Manage Sales and Inventory performance, including aged inventory, stock turns, and debtor arrangements.
  • Assist with development and implementation of retail strategy, including key sales campaigns and activities.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with customers and industry partners.
  • Manage branch staffing requirements, including recruitment, rostering, training, and performance management.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key clients to understand their needs and support sales staff.
  • Planning and driving marketing of branch services and products, playing an active role in campaigns, field days, client nights, and community events.

About You

  • Experience leading dynamic sales teams and understanding of the equine, pet, or rural industry.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to interpret and prepare P&L reports.
  • Passion for building strong relationships and creating a positive team environment.
  • Team player with great communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Demonstrated experience as a people leader with ability to upskill and coach.
