Operations Management Professional

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Management professional to lead our branch operations and drive growth.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Build operational capabilities across the branch network, focusing on sales and inventory performance.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to enhance retail operations, including managing stock levels, debtor arrangements, and aged inventory.
  3. Assist in developing and executing AIRR's retail strategy, encompassing key sales campaigns and activities.
  4. Identify new business opportunities and establish strong relationships with customers and industry partners.
  5. Manage branch staffing requirements, including recruitment, rostering, training, and performance management.
  6. Forge and maintain relationships with key clients to understand their needs and support sales staff as needed.
  7. Drive marketing efforts for branch services and products, actively participating in campaigns, field days, client nights, and community events.

About You:

  • You will have experience leading dynamic sales teams and a deep understanding of the equine, pet, and/or rural industries.
  • You possess strong business acumen, enabling you to interpret and prepare profit and loss reports.
  • Your passion for building strong relationships, both internally and externally, will create a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • You are a team player with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • As a people leader, you have demonstrated experience in upskilling and coaching.
