Job Opportunity

We are seeking a senior technical professional to lead our engineering team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for lifecycle engineering activities within the product line, including requirements analysis, solution design, architecture, development, testing, and maintenance. They will also support the Product Manager and Deputy Product Manager through estimation and programming of technical work within the Product Line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a technical team to design and integrate the product with nominated external systems following industry best practices.
  • Communicate complex technical and operational issues into understandable concepts.
  • Conduct Engineering Reviews of developed artefacts according to the project Engineering Management System and assigned Engineering Authority delegation.
  • Contribute technical inputs to planning and execution of product demonstration events.
  • Work with the Cyber Security Manager to respond to security breaches, investigate their causes, and implement remediation actions.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in ICT technical management, demonstrating personal leadership and delivery skills.
  • Expertise in ICT infrastructure, integration design, infrastructure-as-code, and development methodologies.
  • Leadership experience in DevOps / DevSecOps implementation.
  • Experience creating and deploying code and configurations via a DevOps pipeline.
  • Providing technical expertise and mentorship in a DevOps environment.
  • Test and evaluation experience.
  • Significant experience in IT and cyber security technical delivery or service operations.
  • Knowledge of Australian Government ISM, Defence Security Framework, and NIST standards.
