The role will involve developing and maintaining Service Now platforms and solutions in line with Agile delivery methods.
Key Duties And Responsibilities Take ownership of Service Now solution design and development Lead development teams, set priorities, and drive high performance Develop and maintain user stories and delivery plans Perform Service Now coding in Java Script and configuration using Flow Designer, UI Builder, and Business Rules Design, develop, test, and implement integrations and enhancements Rapidly resolve issues in fielded and developing Service Now applications Recommend and implement new Service Now features and improvements Collaborate with vendors and business stakeholders to mitigate risks and remove blockers Operate within Agile teams and deliver to standards Selection Criteria Max 5000 characters total in one-page pitch (individual responses not required)Essential Criteria Proven ability to: Take ownership of solution design and development Lead a team delivering Agile-based development on time and on budget Act as the conduit between business and technical teams across SDLCDesign, develop and maintain custom Service Now apps and integrations Utilise Service Now functionality such as Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Service Portal widgets, and Configurable Workspaces Communicate complex technical concepts in plain English Manage quality delivery under time constraints and shifting priorities Use agile tooling such as Azure Dev Ops or Service Now agile module Desirable Criteria Tertiary qualifications or recognised certification in Information Management, Computer Science, or related field Industry recognised Service Now certifications (CAD, CIS-ITSM, CIS-CSM)Knowledge of IT frameworks (e.g.
ITIL)Experience delivering large-scale ICT programs in a Commonwealth Government context Familiarity with Service Now UI Builder, Configurable Workspaces, and frontend technologies (HTML/CSS, Java Script, Angular JS)
