Job Opportunity

This is a challenging opportunity to contribute to the success of our team by providing technical leadership and engineering expertise in the communications domain.

The role involves acting as a trusted technology advisor, providing technical guidance and direction. You will be responsible for developing technical plans and monitoring progress to ensure successful outcomes.

Additionally, you will manage technology change processes, including configuration management and change control. This includes performing systems engineering tasks in line with safety and system management policies.

Supporting projects to deliver against specified requirements and ensuring system integrity is also a key aspect of this role. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives is essential.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering and eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer (e.g., RPEQ)
  • Significant experience in applying systems engineering processes to complex systems
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team
  • Experience in aviation safety management systems and knowledge of Civil Aviation Safety Regulations Part 171 (desirable)
  • Highly desirable: Experience in designing, maintaining, and supporting air traffic management systems, particularly in VHF, UHF, and HF communications domains
