Job Opportunity: Housing and Homelessness Sector Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to lead a team of Case Workers and Associate Case Workers in delivering high-quality housing support services to individuals and families across rural and remote regions.
The program focuses on providing immediate housing solutions, financial resilience education, long-term housing planning, and pathways for young people at risk of homelessness to reconnect with family and community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support a passionate team of Case Workers and Associate Case Workers.
- Coordinate service delivery, workloads, and rosters.
- Oversee reporting, evaluation, and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder and community partnerships.
- Represent the program as a trusted leader in housing and homelessness support.
Requirements:
- A degree in Social Work, Human Services, or Behavioural Sciences; OR Certificate IV in Community Services (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' experience in case management.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, program delivery, evaluation, and outcome measurement.
- Strong knowledge of housing support services, relevant legislation, and culturally safe practice.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- A current open driver's licence, Blue Card, and NDIS Yellow Card (or ability to obtain).
