Job Opportunity:

This role involves building strong relationships with stakeholders, businesses, and residents to enhance local precincts and drive economic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships and act as a central point of contact for the community
  • Engage with the community to understand their needs and use this information for future strategic planning
  • Oversee community working groups and committees
  • Monitor governance compliance
  • Coordinate and monitor projects and resources

Requirements:

  • NHWA Driver's Licence
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or significant practical experience in Community Engagement and Business Management
  • Experience in community engagement, including committee management, issues management, event and project management
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
