Job Description

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to residents in a dynamic and rewarding environment. Your primary goal will be to assess, manage, and monitor residents' health conditions to ensure they receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Care: Assess and manage residents' health conditions, monitor vital signs, administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Wound Management: Manage and dress wounds to promote proper healing, prevent infections, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Health Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans based on residents' specific needs and medical conditions.
  • Assessment and Documentation: Conduct thorough health assessments, maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, and document changes in residents' health conditions.
  • Pain Management: Address pain concerns and implement pain management strategies to improve residents' quality of life.
  • Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle medical emergencies and coordinate responses as necessary.
  • End-of-Life Care: Provide comfort, support, and dignity during end-of-life care, including palliative care.
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA Registration.
  • Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards.
  • Adaptable, passionate, and willing to learn.
  • Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
  • Friendly and effective communication abilities.
