Job Title

Essential Nursing Care Provider

  • Our ideal candidate will be a skilled and compassionate nursing professional responsible for delivering high-quality care to residents in our facility.
  • As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a key role in ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.
  • We are seeking an individual who is passionate about providing person-centered care and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Personal Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming, while promoting independence and dignity.
  2. Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and maintain accurate medication records to ensure resident safety and compliance.
  3. Health Monitoring: Observe and record residents' vital signs, symptoms, and changes in their health condition, reporting any concerns to supervising RNs or healthcare teams promptly.
  4. Wound Care: Provide basic wound care and dressing changes for residents with minor wounds, following established protocols and guidelines.
  5. Assessment and Reporting: Conduct regular health assessments and report any significant changes in residents' health to the supervising RN or healthcare team, ensuring timely interventions and optimal outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse or willing to obtain it within the required timeframe.
  • Knowledge of aged care accreditation standards and regulations.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
