Aboriginal Child Services Advocate

This position is designed to work with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander families, children, and young people in Southern NSW.
Main Responsibilities:- Collaborate effectively with families, children, and young people to provide necessary protection and support.
- Work closely with other agencies to address complex issues and develop tailored safety plans.
- Manage cases, conduct thorough risk assessments, and participate in legal proceedings as needed.
- A relevant diploma or degree qualification is highly preferred.
- Two years of experience working with vulnerable populations are required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- A valid driver's license and a current Working with Children clearance number are mandatory.
- Documented verification of Aboriginality is necessary for this role.
- A competitive salary package from $87,315 pa to $113,562 pa.
