About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our team at Mediix, a well-established healthcare organization in a regional setting. As an Emergency Medicine Consultant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of high-quality, safe, and sustainable emergency services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of emergency services in coordination with the Medical Services team, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
  • Manage the clinical ED floor efficiently, responding promptly to MET/Code Blue/Code Black calls, and maintaining a safe and respectful environment for patients and staff.
  • Engage in clinical governance activities, including morbidity and mortality meetings, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and clinical audits, to drive excellence in patient care and departmental performance.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
  • Specialist qualifications such as FACEM, FACRRM, or FRACGP.
