Looking for a role that gives you the opportunity to travel throughout regional South Australia?

We are currently seeking a Practice Leader to join our team on a full-time term basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing advice, information, resources, mentoring, coaching and other support to strengthen the practice capability of office staff.
  • Monitoring practice quality within the office, identifying practice issues and implementing quality improvement strategies.
  • Leading strategic projects to build practice capability within the office.
  • Promoting a learning culture within the office by developing and sourcing relevant training opportunities.
  • Recognising skill and knowledge gaps amongst office staff and facilitating training or other development activities.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in providing an evidence based and culturally appropriate social work practice to children, young people, their families and carers.
  • Knowledge of issues and systems affecting children and young people requiring care and protection, including their families and carers.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining a professional learning and development environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in providing reflective supervision in a child protection context.
