Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Darwin. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be working with diverse client populations, including those with developmental and mental health-related issues. Your role will involve conducting assessments, providing psychological intervention and therapy, and behaviour support services.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and develop individualized plans for intervention and support.
  • Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including individual, family-based, and service system interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality services to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in clinical psychology and apply this knowledge to improve service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology and full AHPRA registration;
  • Clinical Psychology endorsement or interest and eligibility in completing Clinical Psychology endorsement;
  • Experience in working with people with intellectual disabilities, mental health issues, and/or experiences of trauma who have complex needs;
  • Experience in working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other neurodiverse populations;
  • Experience in providing clinical and/or behaviour assessment, intervention, and support in the disability, out-of-home care, and/or other relevant sectors;
