Account Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Sales team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in building client relationships, driving business growth, and delivering outstanding service.

This position involves managing and growing a portfolio of existing clients. As the main point of contact for your customers, you will ensure their needs are met, identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and collaborate across departments to deliver a seamless customer experience. Your focus will be on improving client satisfaction, increasing revenue, and reducing churn by providing strategic and operational support.

About the Role
  1. Client Relationship Building: Build strong, multi-level relationships with clients across various industries.
  2. Account Growth Strategies: Develop and execute account growth strategies aligned with customer objectives.
  3. Customer Reviews: Conduct regular customer reviews and deliver tailored business insights.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate internally to resolve service issues and improve customer experience.
  5. Service Offerings: Identify opportunities to cross-sell and expand service offerings across business units.
  6. Account Performance Management: Monitor account performance and manage forecasting through CRM tools.
  7. Dispute Resolution: Support the reduction of disputes, credit notes, and customer churn.
  8. Industry Knowledge: Stay informed on industry trends, client initiatives, and compliance updates.
  9. Strategic Solutioning: Advocate for your customers internally and lead strategic solutioning efforts.
About You

You will be a commercially minded professional with a background in sales or account management. You'll have strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to support customers and deliver results.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Commercial Acumen: A minimum 3 years' experience in a client-facing sales or account management role.
  2. Industry Experience: Experience working with large or complex accounts, ideally in logistics or transport.
  3. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency.
  4. Presentation Skills: Confidence in preparing and delivering presentations and business reviews.
  5. Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field (preferred).
  6. Driver's Licence: Valid driver's licence.
