Compassionate Home Care Professionals Wanted

Are you looking for a flexible role where you can earn an income and a qualification at the same time? Our organisation offers carers the chance to work in a variety of settings, assisting elderly clients with non-medical assistance in their own homes.
We have shifts available from as little as 2 hours per day, to overnight care and weekend services across a 7 day week. This means that you can choose a schedule that suits your lifestyle and commitments.
You will be working with clients who are aged or living with disability. You will assist them with daily tasks such as personal care, light household duties, meal preparation and transport to appointments. Your role is also about providing companionship and emotional support to our clients.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be reliable, empathetic and compassionate. You should be able to communicate effectively with our clients and work independently as well as part of a team. You will need to be physically fit and able to lift and move clients if required.
The pay is above-award wages and you will be entitled to benefits including opportunities for professional development and training. We value diversity and inclusion and encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.
In this role, you will be scheduled to attend client's home near your location. You will have the flexibility to set your own hours and choose when you want to work. You will be supported by a team local to you.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing non-medical assistance to clients in their own homes
- Assisting with personal care, light household duties, meal preparation and transport to appointments
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Communicating effectively with clients and other staff members
Please note that you will need to undergo a National Police Check and hold a valid driver's license. You will also need to provide proof of COVID vaccination status.
