Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage the Reception desk, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, promoting a culture of customer service excellence.

  • Build strong relationships with guests, addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive business success and implement process improvements.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in a Front Office department at a supervisory level (3 years desirable).

  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems, Opera preferred.

  • Excellent communication, written, verbal, and active listening skills.

  • Detail-focused with an organized approach and ability to multitask.

  • Positive attitude, vibrant, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to work under pressure.

  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Bookkeeping/finance experience highly regarded.

  • Immaculate presentation and grooming standards.

  • Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and school/public holiday periods.

  • The capability to work in a fast-paced environment both as part of a team and autonomously.
