About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of Governance, Risk and Compliance-related projects and initiatives. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, high-level analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a strong understanding of governance frameworks, risk management principles, and compliance obligations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in high-level administrative roles, research project positions or similar fields, with a relevant tertiary qualification. They will be able to develop strong internal and external relationships, demonstrate highly developed project planning, coordination, and time-management skills, and prioritize competing deadlines in a complex environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and positive individual to join our collaborative and high-performing team. As a core member of the GRC team, you will play a pivotal role in enabling the GRC function to operate effectively and meet regulatory, strategic, and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of GRC-related projects and initiatives
  • Support the implementation and review of policies, procedures, and controls
  • Maintain registers and records related to compliance obligations, risk assessments, and governance frameworks
  • Provide general administrative support to the GRC team including calendar management, travel coordination, and procurement
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in high-level administrative roles, research project positions or similar fields
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong internal and external relationships
  • Highly developed project planning, coordination, and time-management skills, with demonstrated experience in these areas
  • An understanding of governance frameworks, risk management principles, and compliance obligations
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a complex environment
