Job Title: Vehicle Disposal Coordinator

Job Summary

The Victorian Government is taking action to transition to net zero emission by 2050. As part of this initiative, we are seeking an experienced Vehicle Disposal Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role

This is a key role in contributing to the planning and delivery of the Zero Emissions Vehicle program. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles for disposal by evaluating their condition and approving any repairs required prior to sale. They will also coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders and have experience in the mechanical and panel repair industry.

- Plan and manage the vehicle lease end of life disposal process for best results.
- Ensure that all financial lease documentation complies with government policy and pricing guidelines.
- Prepare and analyse operational reports from the Vehicle Lease Management System database.

  • Significant knowledge and experience in the motor vehicle industry, particularly as it relates to decommissioning, inspection, rectification, and disposal programs.
  • Experience in disposing of motor vehicles by public auction, including setting reserve prices.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or business experience in the automotive industry.
  • Current Victorian Car Drivers Licence.
