Fleet Vehicle Management Specialist

Our Vehicle Fleet Manager plays a vital role in maintaining the optimal performance and availability of company vehicles.
Reporting to the National Fleet Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring the effective management of vehicle assets across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement fleet asset programs that meet operational requirements and align with organizational standards.
- Coordinate vehicle builds and deployments, ensuring timely delivery and effective issue resolution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across operational, commercial, and procurement functions to achieve business objectives.
- Manage capital planning, delivery scheduling, and monitoring asset performance to optimize fleet utilization.
- Apply knowledge of the vehicle lifecycle, including specification, procurement, commissioning, and disposal, to make informed decisions.
- Utilize build tracking processes and coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and body builders to ensure smooth operations.
- Experience with asset data systems, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, is highly desirable.
A degree in logistics, engineering, or a related field is highly regarded; post-graduate qualifications will be considered favorably.
