About the Role

The AFL Australia is seeking a highly skilled Strength and Conditioning Expert to join our team. As a key member of our High-Performance department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a strength and conditioning program that exposes athletes to an age-appropriate, progressive, and challenging strength training stimulus to promote long-term athlete development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a strength and conditioning program that aligns with the AFL's high-performance goals.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate an engaging rehabilitation process and individualized return to perform programs for injured athletes.
  • Monitor and provide feedback to coaches on training sessions.

Requirements

  • A degree in Exercise Science or equivalent.
  • ASCA Level 1 (Level 2 preferred).
  • Current Working with Children Check (Ochre Card).
