Job DescriptionThis fixed-term seasonal role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our team at the NT Talent Academy programs. As an Elite Sports Performance Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs that cater to the needs of talented players, with the goal of promoting long-term athlete development.
You will work closely with medical staff to facilitate rehabilitation processes and individualized return-to-play programs for injured athletes. Additionally, you will apply feedback from High-Performance Leads regarding internal and external load monitoring to ensure optimal preparation of athletes.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs that promote age-appropriate, progressive, and challenging training stimuli.
- Implementing appropriate conditioning programs for pre-season and in-season competition phases.
- Applying feedback from High-Performance Leads regarding internal and external load monitoring to assist in optimal preparation of athletes.
- Collaborating with medical staff to facilitate rehabilitation processes and individualized return-to-play programs for injured athletes.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A degree in Exercise Science or equivalent.
- A willingness to work flexible hours, including 2 training nights and Game Day.
- ASCA Level 1 (Level 2 preferred).
- A current Working with Children Check (ochre card).
